Recipe: Hide your veggies in a savoury pie
Are you having a problem with feeding your kids vegetables and aren’t you feeling like having a fight every single time they have to eat them? Time time to hide them! A savory pie is the perfect dish to do so. We are filling ours with mushrooms, but you can choose every kind of vegetable(s) you like. This dish isn’t taking much preparation time and is totally kids-proof. Fill it up with as many vegetables as you like and believe us: if they won’t see it, they won’t taste it!
500 g of mushrooms blend, 1 garlic clove, 2 tbsp. of oil, 30 g of parsley, onion 1 red, 1 part of puff pastry, pepper and salt.
Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and grease the savory molds. Cut the mushrooms and garlic into pieces, heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the garlic. Add the mushroom and cook them until they are done. Cut the parsley and red onion in the meantime. Add the mushrooms and stir them well. Season the whole with some salt and pepper and divide the mixture between the molds. Bake them in the centre of the oven for about 15 minutes until they get a golden glow.
