BEAUTY AND MYSTERY COME TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST FRAGRANCE OF PROENZA SCHOULER
Arizona, in the far west, is the birthplace of America. It is not just a location on the map: it is a fertile landscape of contrasting elements. It has a rugged beauty, shaped by nature. The essence of the American desire for adventure and discoveries. A pioneering spirit. Arizona is a state of mind, a sense of grand vistas, of adventure. A place that in one way or another radiates a certain energy, a place where beauty and mystery come together.
Arizona – an idea, a dream. It evokes feelings of liberation to find a greater truth.
Arizona – a name. Respect and love for nature, and a sense of unbridled freedom.
Arizona – a signature fragrance in which the ideology of the label is summarized.
Arizona and Proenza Schouler speak the same language. A constant mix of two different ideas to create something bigger than the sum of the separate parts. Extremely modern designs that offer women something new but also feel familiar in some way, in an unprecedented manner.
Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez are an exception in the international fashion world thanks to their reputation for innovation and pioneering design. That drive to discover and experiment, in which nature is often mixed with the humanity, has now been translated into their first fragrance.
Arizona is a radiant, blooming floral scent, with an unique mineral character. Two chords, two fragrance notes, are the essence of the fragrance: creamy lil (family of the Iris) and white cactus flower.
The white cactus flower chord is combined with a jasmine absolute, an orange absolute and a sunny chord. This blend forms the flourishing, versatile floral heart of Arizona. The creamy Lis-chord creates a smooth sensuality, as a second skin effect. With the addition of musk and a cashmeran chord creates a structured, creamy woody sillage that envelops the skin in a comfortable layer. Arizona’s unique fragrance has been developed through a fusion of different thoughts, and from two different approaches – just like the groundbreaking designs by Proenza Schouler.
