Breakfast recipe: Healthy apple pie

Starting the day with pie? Sounds good to us! Yet, it’s not very educational for your kids and, next to that, not too good for those winter kilos that are still there unfortunately. Which is why we are going for healthy apple pies today. Those are very filling, tasty and ready in no-time. Treats are totally fine during the weekend, but healthy treats are always better of course!

100 gram oatmeal, 250 ml soymilk, cinnamon, apple, chia seeds, vanilla powder, raisins, fresh fruit of choice.

Heat the oven to 180 degrees and mix the oatmeal with the soy milk. Cut the apple into small pieces and add it to the mixture. Add a teaspoon of cinnamon, vanilla powder, chia seeds and raisins. Mix this well and put the mixture in an oven dish. Your dish is ready after about 20 minutes, but this differs with each oven. Make sure that you keep an eye on it for that reason. The dish is ready when the top gets a golden glow. Sprinkle some fresh fruit on top and your pie is ready to be served! If you like banana more, you can also replace the apple for pieces of banana. You can also alternate of course! Enjoy!
